![♦ [ I J v * ■. * * ' Of the SCROTUM. H E Scrotum is the externa], or common JL covering* of both tefticles, as well as the external and common covering of the coats, or tunics of the tefticles. The Scrotum is compofed of the Guticula; ' the Cutis ; the Membrana Cellularis; and the, Dartos mufcle. ■ . . * * * The fituation of the cuticle is on the external furface of the Scrotum; the Cutis lies under the cuticle. Betwixt the cuticle and Cutis is fpread the Rete Mucofum. Adjoining the internal fur- I face of the Cutis is placed a thin covering of a loofe and hollow texture, void of fat. This co¬ vering to anatomiiis is known by the name of the cellular membrane of the Scrotum.
