Lieut.-Colonel Moulton- Barrett stated that the initial cost should not exceed 8Ol. and the upkeep 401. a year. Deferred pending consideration of the furniture required for Nursing Staff quarters, &. Pattern submitted not considered satisfactory — a new pattern with sliding lid to be obtained. Builey’s pattern costing 3s. 6d. each recommended—the lid to be without central hole. Lieut.-Colonel Moulton - Barrett estimated the initial additional cost in comparison with present pattern to be 38/., and the upkeep 19/. per annum. With the exception of the covers for tubs, disinfecting, which were not considered necessary, the issues pro- posed were found to have been disposed of by the Committee on other papers. The attached report marked “‘ A” was approved. Accepted recommendation of the Sub-Committee that only the work done, which will provide for the pre- sent nurses, should be approved, the provision for increased numbers standing over until the general ques- tions are settled. Referred to the Equipment Sub- Committee appointed in Minute 17.
