Medicine men go wild. Part 1, The hot zone.

The first in a four-part series which follows twin doctors, Chris and Xand van Tulleken, trained in tropical medicine as they travel the world to research and experience for themselves the roles of medicine, ritual and belief in traditional forms of healing. In this part they go deep into the heart of Central Africa to the swamp forests of the Congo where they live alongside the Bayaka pygmies. One of the brothers takes a remedy for erectile dysfunction, watch (and intervene in) the treatment of a baby sick with malaria and go hunt for crocodiles which they eat later with the pygmies.
