This text was composed in the Yuan period (1206-1368). The illustration reproduced here is taken from an edition of 1515 (10th year of the Zhengde reign period of the Ming dynasty). It shows a seated gentleman wearing a long gown. With his hand, he draws back his gown and trouser leg to reveal the whole of his left leg, on which the acu-moxa locations of the stomach channel of foot yangming are marked.
