A frag, of an inscr. to John London, canon, dug up in 1896 on the site of Yewnham priory is said to be preserved in the Town Hall, Bedford. The brasses are now lost at Eversholt, 6 sons and 6 daus., c. 1450, parents and inscr. gone ; at Markyate, an inscr. to Bich. Lovelych, ‘‘ seneschallus huius mon’ de Mark¬ yate ” and rector of Maldon, 1412 ; at Millbrook, to Robt. Were, priest, c. 1430, in mass vests., with inscr. in 4 Eng. vv., Fisher, Colls., pi. 70, said to have been lost at funeral of Lady Holland ; at Sandy, an inscr. to John Hertepole, unus magistrorum cancellarie regis,” rector and prebendary of With- ington, Hereford, 1432. Indents at Keysoe, with Lomb. inscr. to Aubrey de Taye, 14th cent., and at Tilsworth with Lomb. inscr. to Adam de Tullesworth, 14th cent., are engr. Fisher, Colls., pis. 61 and 98. Another indent at Tilsworth to - Morteyn, still contains one brass letter.
