[Isabel, widow of-St. Aubyn], 12 Eng. vv. commencing “ My friend who so this tombe”, etc., 2 shs. ; marg. inscr. lost ; effs. rel. S.A., verses and shs. on screen. A frag, of the marg. inscr. is preserved at Wardour Castle and is palimp., on rev. a portion of a marg. inscr. from a Flemish br. Dunkin, pis. 36 (effs. and vv.), 41, fig. 1 (palimp.). IV. Frag, of marg. inscr., ‘‘Here under lyeth buried Jane Arundell”, and 2 shs. from the br. to Jane, dau. of Sir John Arundell, K.B., by his 2nd w. Kath., dau. of Sir Thos. Grenville, 1577, aged 72, now on screen. The eff. and the dexter half of 13 Eng. vv. with an acrostic on name are at Wardour Castle and are both palimp., on rev. portions of a fine Flemish br. dated 1374. The head of the eff. and the marg. inscr. are at Wardour Castle, the former is palimp., on rev. a frag, of a Flemish brass as no. IV. Dunkin, pis. 37 (eff., vv. and marg. inscr.), 41, fig. 3 (palimp.). VI. Cysselle Arundell, sister of no. V, 1578, aged 52, 12 Eng. vv. commencing “ Though tyme that all devours ” etc., and 2 shs., eff. rel., S.A., vv. and shs. on screen. Frags, of the marg. inscr., one palimp., on rev. a frag, of a Flemish br., are at Wardour Castle. Dunkin, pis. 38 (eff. and vv.), 41, fig. 6 (palimp.). VII. Civilian, c. 1580, rel., S.A. Dunkin, pi. 39 (attributed to no. VIII). VIII. Eight Lat. vv. commencing “ Mors mihi grata ” etc., 18 Eng. vv. “ Three mightie monarchs ” etc., ach. and 2 shs., from the br. to Edw. Arundell, 5th son of Sir John Arundel by Elizth. Danet, died in Fleet Street, London, 1586, aged 48, vv. and shs. now on screen.
