From my own experience with regard to His Majefty, I cannot fay any thing ; but fipm a very particular detail of his mode and manner of life for twenty-feven years, I do imagine, that weighty bufinefs, fevere exer- cife, and too great abftemioufneis, and little reft, has been too much for his conftitution. -—It is very early to give an opinion, and I may be miftaken, but I am the more inclined to think myfelf right, becaufe the medicine that has been given His Majefty ever finee Sunday morning, and was intended to meet and counteradt thofe- caufes, has had as much effeft as I could wifh; and His Majefty has certainly been gradually better from the firft fix hours of his taking it. Whether you have reafon to believe, that the circumftances you have enumerated are frequently caufes of this diforder ? I believe they are very frequently. Where the diforder has arifen from fuch caufes, have you frequently known it cured ? Very frequently. Have / /I y
