Drawn in Little by One, whose Manifold Misfortunes Abroad, have render’d him Necessitated, to seek for Shelter Here; by Dedicating Himself and this small Poem. By H. A. Gent. 1zmo. Old calf (rebacked). Printed for the Author, 1698. 41 158 Collation A2, B-D (in fours). Sometimes ascribed to Henry Audley. This scarce little work contains a Dedicatory Epistle inserted. It was the author’s custom to insert this and alter the inscription to suit the persons to whom he sent his begging production. In the case of this copy he has just left the words “Honoured Sr.” Although the author is practically unknown, his verse is not without con- siderable merit.
