The lime-washing and cleaning was done in April and October, and the living rooms inore olden. 1 liave made a number of visits at bed|f time, and have noticed sometimes several beds Jiot occupied, so there is not much overcrowding. We liad a liiOcal Government Board lnsj)ector here in the eaidy spring. He held an enrjuiry at the Lodging House, and went round the bedrooms at night time writh the JMedical Ohicer, Borough Surveyor, and myself.
