Small folio, with numerous large woodcuts as particularised below ; old red morocco gilt, gilt edges, with the bookplate of George Wilbraham Mentz, 1486 The large woodcuts are as follows : 1 frontispiece ; 2 Panorama of Venice, 65 inches by 113, a little broken and patched ; 3 View of Corfu; 4 Parentum ; 5 Candia, 31 x 10 inches; 6 Modon, 314 x 10% inches; 7 Rhodes, patched and slightly defective, patched and slightly defective. Throughout the book and on the back of the Jerusalem view there are several smaller woodcuts. In the view of Venice two of the sections have been supplied from the Spires issue of the book, as we learn only from the type of the printed matter which occupies the back of those two sections, the woodblocks them- selves being identical in both issues. ‘The text relating to Venice is therefore partially missing. the same, in German.
