    Lindsey ^ Hobartes Patent for Consuming Smoke. aforesaide, bee favouring, aydeing, helping, and assistinge to the saide Roberte Lindsey and lohn Hobarte, theire executors, administrators, and assignes, and theire deputies, servauntf, and agentf, in and by all thingf in and aboute the accomplishment of our pleasure herein declared, and in the exercise and execucon of the saide pmisses hereby graunted or menconed to bee graunted 5 as aforesaide; and that they nor any of them doe att any tyme hinder, moleste, or interrupte the saide Roberte Lindsey and lohn Hobarte, theire executors, administrators, deputies, or assignes, or any of them in anywise, as they tender our royall pleasure and will avoide the contrary att theire perillf; and theise our Letters Pattentf or the inrollment thereof shall bee theire sufficiente 10 warrant and discharge in that behalfe: Provided always, that if the saide yearely rente or some hereby reserved as aforesaide shall happen to bee behinde or vnpaied in parte or in all by the space of thirtie dayes nexte after the saide feastf in which the same is lymitted and covenaunted to bee paied as afore¬ saide, or if the saide Roberte Lindsey and lohn Hobarte shall not inroll or 15 cause to bee inrolled this our psente graunte before the Clarke of the Pipe for the tyme beeing within sixe moneths after the date hereof, that then the saide Roberte Lindsey and lohn Hobarte, theire executors, administrators, and assignes, shall forfeite and pay to vs (n5Ie pene) aswell fortie shillingf for every such thirtie dayes defaulte of payment of the saide rente as afore- go saide, as twentie shillingf more for every sixe moneths defaulte of the inroll¬ ment of theise psentf before the Clarke of the Pipe for the tyme being as aforesaide : Provided alsoe, and our will and pleasure is, that if att any tyme dureing the saide terme of fourteene yeares ytt shall appeare vnto vs, our heires and successors, or to our Privie Councell for the tyme beeing, that this graunte 25' is contrary to our lawes, or inconveniente or mischeevous to the state of our saide realmes, or eyther of them, that then vpon significacon and declaracon thereof to bee made by vs, our heires or successors, vnder our signett or privie seale, or otherwise, by or from the lordf and others of the Privie Councell, or sixe or more of them respectively, of the saide severall realmes, or eyther $(> of them, for the tyme beeing, of such piudice and inconvenience, theise our Lfes Patten tf shall forthwith cease, deter my ne, and bee vtterly voide to all intentf and purposes as to such of our saide realmes as the same shall bee declared to bee piudiciall or inconvenyent for anythinge herein conteyned to the contrary notwithstanding; and wee doe hereby graunte for vs, our heires 35 and successors, vnto the saide Roberte Lindsey and lohn Hobarte, theire executors, administrators, and assignes, that theise our Lres Pattentf or the inrollmente thereof shall bee firme, good, and effectuall according to the true meaninge of the same, notwithstandinge the not describing of the manner, forme.
