    NEW SERIES. Health at Home Tracts. The desire of the beloved apostle was that his friend Gaius should prosper and be in health, even as his soul prospered. Christ is the Saviour of the body as well as of the soul, or rather of men, who have bodies as well as souls, and due care of the body is a Christian duty as well as concern for the welfare of the soul. The diffusion of sound information, in a popular and readable form, fitted to make the people sensible of their responsibility, and lead them to use all the means in their power to preserve their own health and the health of those dependent upon them, so that they may be able to fulfil in the best manner all the purposes of their existence, is there¬ fore one important branch of the work of The Religious Tract Society. In order to fulfil this part of their duty to the public the Society proposes to issue a Short Series of Health at Home Tracts, neatly printed and got up, and cheap in price, adapted for wide circulation. The Series will be compre¬ hensive and cover the whole ground as far as it can be fittingly done in publications of this class. In every Tract the moral and spiritual, as well as the physical needs of the readers will be kept in view. Words of counsel will be given with reference to the life and health of the soul as well as of the body, though the chief purpose is to give directions with reference to the latter.
