But the Valetudinary, and thofe employed in fedentary Profeffions, or intellectual Studies, muft leffen this Quantity, if they would preferve their Health, and the Freedom of their Spirits long. Studious and fedentary Men muft of Necellity eat and drink a great deal lefs, than thofe very fame Men might do, were they engaged in an active Life.
