    Juft* QtVe^tcaf ßocüttfs ßtßrarj)* No. I.—A Member of the Library shall be entitled to borrow one volume at a time, subject to Rule II. II.—Works of Reference and Periodicals are not to be removed from the Library. III. —No book shall be kept longer than seven days from the date of issue, but the borrower may, at the expiration of that time, renew the book, provided it has not been asked for in the interval. IV. —Any Member who detains a book longer than the specified period shall be liable to a Penny for the first day after receiving notice from the Sub-Librarian, and Sixpence for every suc¬ ceeding period of one day. V. —Borrowers who detain a book for one week after receiving notice that they are in default shall be liable for its value. VI.—All books must be returned on July ist in each year to the Library, and no book shall be issued until after July 7th. VII.—The penalty for damage to a book shall be a fine at the dis¬ cretion of the Library Committee. JAMES McNIDDER. Hon. Librarian.
