(a) That the Infantile Death-rate was 11*1 cnit.] (h) That the Chilil Death-rate (under 5 years) was 41*4 per cent, of the total number of deatlis; (c) That the cases of Infectious Sickness noticed (241) were IG'9 per 1,000 of the estimated population; (d) That the Death-rate from six principal Zymotic diseases was 1'7 j)er 1,000; and that all the Deatlis from Zymotic disease were I'8 per 1,000 of the estimated population. There was not a case of Small-pox during the Year. The solitary case (fatal) tabulated under the head of ‘‘Cholera’’ was that of a child certified to have died (at 4 months old) of “ Cholera Nostras” (synonym, English Cholera), but neither was the case notified, nor the duration of the disease certified. It occurred in August.
