No text description is available for this image![RULES. i. “The Thames Ditton Cottage Hospital for the Dittons, Esher and Claygate ” is provided for patients in the Dittons, Esher and Claygate who are in need of accommodation thereat. II. The management of the Institution shall be vested in the Com¬ mittee, consisting of the President, Vice-Presidents, Treasurer, Secretary, Assistant Secretary (if any), Medical Officers and not more thaij 20 Members, elected from the Subscribers, five of whom shall retire annually by rotation, but shall be eligible for , re-election. III. A General Meeting of the Subscribers shall be held annually within three calendar months after the close of the Hospital’s financial year. At this meeting a report shall be presented by the Committee, and the Treasurer shall ]rroduce his accounts for the past year. The Committee, Medical Officers, Treasurer, Secretary and Assistant Secretary (if required) shall be elected, and an Auditor appointed for the ensuing year, and any vacancy in the offices of President, Vice-President or Trustees filled up. Altera¬ tions in the rules may be made, and such other business transacted as may be necessary. Subscribers of five shillings and upwards shall be entitled to vote at these meetings. The Committee shall have power at any time, with the Treasurer’s consent, to appoint one or more Assistant Treasurers. The duties of Assistant Treasurers shall be confined to assisting the Treasurer in the collection of subscriptions in such manner as he may arrange. They shall hold office during the pleasure of the Committee, and shall not be members thereof ex-officio. IV. No gentleman shall be eligible for the post of Medical Officer unless he be legally qualified; any legally qualified Medical Prac- tioner shall be allowed to attend upon cases in the Hospital under his care at the time of admission.](https://iiif.wellcomecollection.org/image/b31712423_0022.jp2/full/800%2C/0/default.jpg)
