    MEASLES. Measles occasioned 485 deaths. (The average number of deaths for the preceding ten years was 511.) Its percentage death-rate relatively to deaths from all causes was 8*6 in the first quarter of the year, 3*0 in the second, 0‘7 in the third, and L9 in the fourth.
