A long inscription presenting them to Lord Nelson and a letter addressed to the great Admiral, both in the autograph of Sir R. Worsley, are in the volumes. These beautiful volumes were presented by Nelson to Lady Hamilton, and they were sold in her sale (at Christie’s), in 1809, for 50 guineas, and then passed into the famous Dent collection. Only 100 copies of this splendid publication were printed for Sir Richard Worsley’s friends and public institutions.
