DRAFT of a Project of an alliance between the King [of England], the Queen of Hungary, and the King of Poland [Circa 1740], Contemporary Manuscript. Folio, consisting of 8 leaves, £1 8s. This projected treaty between George II, Maria Theresa and Frederick Augustus II contains a provision by which The Empress of Russia and the States General of the United Provinces were to be invited to accede to the alliance, as principal contractors. DRAFT of a report relative to the Allegation that the Russian Government had supported designs for placing the Old Pretender upon the throne of England.
