Viardot that he will probably not be able to undertake his intended journey to London and asks Chorley to take care of his musical MSS. which he had left in charge of Mr. Hullah, and he expresses the wish that, if any of his works should be performed in London, they should be the ‘‘ Sanctus ’’ and the ‘‘ Libera me ’’ for preference.
