About this work
Description
Dr. Mark Porter investigates the recent evidence that links hormone replacement therapy (HRT) with diseases like breast cancer. A report by the WHI has claimed that 20, 000 cases of breast cancer over the last cases may have been caused by HRT. He is joined by Dr. Val Godfrey who thinks the WHI claim is invalid. The programme includes accounts from women going through the menopause who have used both HRT and tried complementary therapies.
