Dear Dr. Crick, I enclose a provisional programme of our next Symposium. This includes all the information we have at the moment except that Joshua Lederberg will also be coming and hag promised to sum-up, take the chair during a general discussion at the end, and write a commentary for publication in the Journal for General Microbiology. Though we have not yet made final plans for this discussion the Committee would be very pleased if you could attend the symposium and contribute to any of the discussions. If you can come I will send you a set of second proofs in January as soon as they are ready.
