    GENERAL REG ULA TIONS—continued. {Order of the Poor Law Board, dated ISth June, 1S67—continued.) Article 22.—Every contract to be hereafter made by the Manasei-s shall contain a stipulation requiring the contractor to send in his bill or account of the sum due to him for goods or work, on or before some day to be named in the contract. Article 23.—The Board of Management shall fix some day or davs, not being more than twenty-one days after the end of each ^en-^efl; quarter, for the attendance of contractors and tradesmen, or their authorised agents, and the Clerk shall notify such day to every contractor or tradesman to whom money may be due, or to his agent, or he shall, under the dii-ection of the Board of Management, cause'the same to be advertised in some newspaper circulatmg in the District. Orders tor Contributions and Payments. Article 24.~The Managers shall from time to time make orders cn the proper authorities of .the several Unions and Parishes in the said District, for the payment to the Managers of such sums as may be required by the Managers for the contributions of each Tnion and Parish to the common fund of the District. Article 25.—Every such order shall be made according to the Form* (E) [p. 20] hereunto annexed, and shall be signed by the ^^^^^^^ presiding Chairman of the meeting, and two other Managers present see pp. 96- thereat, and shall be countersigned by the Clerk. Article 26.—The Managers shall pay every sum greater than three pounds by an order which shall be drawn upon their Treasurer, and shall be signed by the presiding Chairman and two Amended, other Managers at a meeting of the Board of Management, and shall be countersigned by the Clerk, and shall be in the form set forth in the Schedule hereunto annexed (marked P) t [p- 21], and shall be presented at the Treasurer's house or usual place of business, and within the usual hours of business. » Form altered (sec pp. 9G, 111.) t Torm altered (see pp. 95, 109.)
