No text description is available for this image![GENERAL REG ULATIONS—continued. {Order oj the Poor Law Board, dated ISth June, 18Q7—continued.) Xo. 2.—To pay, out of any moneys for the time being in his hands belonging to the Board of Management, all orders for money which shall be drawn upon him in conformity with Article 26 [p. 9], when the same shall be presented at the house or usual place of business of the Treasurer, and within the usual hours of business. ]Sro. 3.—To keep an account under the proper dates, of all moneys received and paid by him as such Treasurer, to balance the same at Lady Day and Michaelmas Day in every year, and to render an account of such moneys to the Board of Management, when required by them to do so. >fo. 4.—Whenever there are not funds belonging to the Board of Management in his hands as their Treasurer to report in writing the fact of such deficiency to the Poor Law Board. Xo. 5.—To submit a proper account, together with the bonds of any officers which may be in his custody, to the Auditor, at the place of audit, and at the time and in such manner as may be required by the regulations of the Poor Law Board. So. 6.—To receive the moneys payable to him as Treasurer of the Board of Management, under any Act of ParUament or other authority of law. Article 52.—Provided that the regulations in Articles 36 and 51 shall not be appUcable if the Governor and Company of the Bank of England shall act as their Treasui'er or Bankers. Receipt and Payment of Money by Officeks.
