Description

Lord Stanley is bowling. The wicket keeper is Sir Robert Peel, and the Duke of Wellington is the square-leg umpire. Among the fielders are Sir William Follett and Sir James Graham. As the title suggests it has been a long innings but Daniel O'Connell, the umpire at the bowler's end on the far right, could finish it and hints at the Irish Registration Bill
