(wants 4 leaves and one in fac- simile), initials finely painted in gold and colours, red morocco with a panel of geometrical design [Hain 5165; Proctor 4017] (Sold not subject to return) folio. Venice, Johann of Speier, MececLrxviiii, 1469 748 Columna (Franciscus de) Hypnerotomachia di Poliphilo, cioe pugna D’amore in sogno, second edition (234 Il.), one leaf (Lita) badly torn and repaired, some leaves stain2d and reprired, MS. notes on some of the margins, otherwise a good copy (114in. by 81n.), calf blind and gold-tooled with aldine device on the sides, slightly damaged folio. In Venegia, nelV’anno MDXLV in casa de Figlivoli di Aldo [1545] 749 Constitutiones Legitime seu Legatine Regionis Anglicans, | lettres batardes, fine woodcut of St. George and the Drajyon on’ the title, early binding of stamped leather over oak boards (re- backed), with various stamps, Lucretia, Prudentia, Vanitas, etc., and the initials L.B. folio.
