    Foreword This Code gives guidance on the application of the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1992 in all work activities to which the Regulations apply, including construction. It is expected that new regulations on construction site management will be developed to implement the Temporary and Mobile Construction Sites Directive, which was adopted on 24 June 1992. When the new regulations are made, it is envisaged that they will be accompanied by a new Approved Code giving guidance on the new construction regulations and supplementing this Approved Code of Practice on the application of the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1992 to construction. Those concerned with the management of health and safety in the construction industry will therefore need to read both Approved Codes of Practice and it is intended that both Codes will be published in one document for that purpose. ill
