![SUGGESTIONS TO STUDENTS AS TO THEIR COURSE OF STUDY. The regulations of the Universities and Colleges, as to the Course of Medical Study, are altered from time to time, and Students must be careful to attend to such regulations as are in force at the time they begin their studies. Any omission on their part may lead to loss of time and to the postponement of their Examinations. During the first Winter Session Students should attend the Lectures on Anatomy, Physiology, and Chemistry, and they should be diligent in their attendiince in the Dissect- ing rooms, where parts for dissection will be allotted to them after they have been instructed in Osteology by the Demonstrators, who will arrange them in Classes for this purpose. When not engaged in dissection, or in attend- ing Lectures, Students should attend in the Surgical- wards, and from 12 to 1 in the Post-mortem room, and on Thursdays they should attend in the . Operating Theatre at One o'clock to watch the various surgical operations. The Surgical Consultations on Wednesdays at Nine o'clock shoulcl also be attended. During the first Summer Session the Student should attend Lectures on Materia Medica, Botany, and Clinical Surgery, and he should attend the Classes of Practical Chemistry, Practical Physiology, and should study Prac- tical Pharmacy. When not occupied by these subjects he should attend the Surgical Hosjjital Practice, and the Post-mortem Examinations. All Students, especially if they have not friends among the senior Students, to whose experience they can appeal, are recommended to seek advice from thd Physicians and Surgeons of the Infirmary, regarding applications for appointments as Clinical Clerks, Dressers, and the like, or on any other subject concerning which they may need information or counsel. The following arrangement of Lectures is drawn up as an aid to Students ] but it is not by any means intended that they should, in all cases, follow it exactly.
