She died 22nd September, 1750, aged 65; will 20th November, 1749, codicils 4th April and iith September, 1750; proved 4th Oftober, 1750, by her brother, Sir Conyers Jocelyn, Bart. (327 Greenly, P.C.C.), Hopton Haynes had iflue by his firft wife: I. Hopton Haynes, born in London; admitted Penfioner at Clare Coll., Cam- bridge, 4th June, 1715, as pupil of Mr. Laughton; B.A. 1718; Fellow i4thAuguft, 1721; M.A. 1722; Redlor of Elmfett; difpenfed to hold Brettenham, 1727, and Stansfield, Suffolk, 1728; Chaplain to James, Earl of Cleveland; died 25th June, buried ift July, 1766, at Elmfett; admon., as of Ipfwich, granted 14th July, 1766, to his two fons, Samuel Haynes, efq., and Charles-Mein Haynes, clerk in H. Orders^ (P.C.C.). He married at St. Helen’s, London, 13th February, 1728, Margaret White, who was buried at Elmfett 13th November, 1760, and had iffue: 1. Elizabeth Haynes, buried at Elmfett, 29th June, 1735. 2. Hopton Haynes, born in London; admitted Penfioner of Clare Coll,, ift June, 1749, as pupil to Mr, Curtail; Scholar on Lord Exeter’s foundation, i8th January, i749-50> i753- 3. Charles Haynes, baptifed 27th March, 1734; buried 16th July, 1735, at Elmfett. 4. Samuel Haynes, baptifed 20th March, 1735, at Elmfett; M.P. for Brackley, 1789-1802. He died at Sunninghill, Berks, i8th June, 1811; will 21ft January, proved 27thAuguft, 18 ii, by Elizabeth, his wife (363 Crickitt, P.C.C.). She died at Little Gaddefden, Herts, i6th May, 1813; will 7th March, 1812, proved 2nd July, 1813 (361 Heathfield, P.C.C.). Their foie daughter and heirefs, Charlotte-Catherine-Anne Haynes, born 20th November, 1763, died iith February, 1849, married 14th Jany., 1783, to Lieut.-Col. John-William Egerton, 23rd Dragoons, M.P. for Brackley and Morpeth (2nd fon of John Egerton, D.C.L., Bifhop of Durham) who fucceeded as 7th Earl of Bridgewater in 1803, and died 21ft Odtober, 1823. 5.
