![Marcle Regifter.) He matriculated at Oxford, 9th June, 1698, aged 17, from Magdalen Hall, B.A. 13th November, 1702, and M.A. 4th July, 1720. He became Vicar of Hill, co. Gloucefter, 1706, figning the fubfcription book at Gloucefter as B.A. previoufly to his admiffion 24th May, 1706, but the fadt of his inftitution is not recorded. He was made Redtor of Corringham, Eflex, 2nd June, 1735, on the prefentation of Robert Biddulph, his coufin, in which living he was fucceededby his nephew Charles Mayo in 1743. He was buried under the altar in Hill Church, with this infcription: In memory of the Reverend Mr. William Prichard, A.M., Rector of Corringham, IN THE County of Essex, and more than 36 years Minister of this Parish, who died the 14TH DAY of May, a.d. 1743, in the 63“ Year of his Age. III. Joseph Prichard, “ the fon of Benjamin Prichard, Redlor of this Parilh and Gertrude his wife, was baptifed and was born on the 25th December betwixt 10 and 11 at night 1681.” (Sutton St. Nicholas reg.) IV. Gertrude Prichard,baptifed (as were the reft) at Ledbury, 25th Novem- ber, 1683, and married there, 28th November, 1708, to Caleb Randolph. She was buried 25th November, 1709, as “Gertrude, ye wife of Mr. Caleb Randolph,” and her hulband, who long furvived her, 23rd April, 1741, as “Caleb Randolph, Gent.” On the floor of St. Anne’s Chapel (fouth aifle) is a ftone with this infcription: In memory of | Mr. Caleb Randolph of this | Town, Merchant, who died April | the 20’’ 174I) Aged 70, | He was Very liberal to the Poor | in his life TIME, AND BY HIS WiLL | GAVE THEM A LARGE LeGACY, | THE PARTICULARS OF WHICH ARE I Entered upon a Table set up in ] this Church by his Executor. | Also in memory OF I Gertrude his Wife who was | Eldest Daughter of M‘‘ Benjamin | Prichard, Vicar of this Church. | She died November the 4’' 1709 | Aged 26 Years. Caleb Randolph’s long will, dated 29th Odlober, 1734, with codicil 19th Sep- tember, 1738, was proved 22nd Auguft, 1741. (212 Spurway, P.C.C.) V. Herbert Prichard, baptifed 13th May, 1685. He matriculated at Oxford, loth July, 1702, aged 15, from Brafenofe College; B.A. nth April, 1706, and M.A. 17th February, 1709. 7th June (Tu.), 1715; “This morning preached at St. Marie’s [Oxford], Mr. Herbert Prichard of Bras. He was inftituted Redlor of St. George’s, Middlefex, 22nd June, 1727, and ceded 1729; Redlor of Stebonheath, Spitalfields Stepney, ift June, 1728, and Redlor of Chrift Church, Spitalfields, loth July, 1729, all in the gift of Brafenofe College. He died 13th Auguft, 1730 (Mufgrave’s Obituary).
