![xiv. Elizabeth Shepheard; married 9th Nov., 1723, to William Thomas. XV. Joseph Shepheard, baptifed at Dormington 21ft Dec., 1700. Of Mort- lake; died 1793; will, 228 Dodwell, P.C.C. He left ilTue by Anne, his wife. Wallwyn Shepheard (iii), fecond fon, of Dormington Court, co. Hereford, was baptifed 7th Sept., 1683. He became Commoner of Trinity College, Oxford; matriculated 13th July, 1703, aged 16 [/?c]; Barrifter-at-Law, Inner Temple; inherited the manors of Dormington and Sutton Frene, the advowfon of Sutton St. Nicholas, and fome farms in Much Marcle, from his mother (the other co- heirefs, Margaret, wife of John Noble, taking the manor of Marcle Audley and Hellens). He died 6th Auguft, and was buried at Dormington 8th Auguft, 1753, as “Wallwyn Shepheard, efq., fenr.” He married Rachel (baptifed 21ft Od., 1684; buried at Dormington 24th July, 1770), daughter of Edmund Lechmere, of Hanley Caftle (elder fon of Sir Nicholas Lechmere, of Hanley Caftle, Baron of the Exchequer), and Lucy, his wife, daughter of Sir Anthony Hungerford, of Farleigh Caftle, Somerfet. Portraits of Wallwyn and Rachel Shepheard are in the pofleflion of Arthur-Wallwyn Shepheard-Walwyn. They had iftue an only child, Wallwyn Shepheard, of Dormington Court, born 17th July, baptifed there 23rd July, 1710; Fellow Commoner of Trinity College, Oxford, 28th Feb., and matriculated i8th March, 1729-30. He died in 1772. His portrait is in the pofleflion of the widow of the late C. C. W. Shepheard. He married Mary (baptifed at Richmond 20th Auguft, 1724, died at Hereford, buried at Sutton St. Nicholas 25th March, 1799), daughter of William Collins, of Richmond, and had ifl*ue: A. Mary Shepheard, born and baptifed lOth Feb., 1746-7, at Dormington; died at Worcefter iith 061., 1761, buried 14th 061. following in the chancel of St. Helen’s there. B. Wallwyn Shepheard, of Dormington Court, born and privately baptifed there, 4th June, 1748; Barrifter-at-Law, Inner Temple; Commiflioner of Bankruptcy April, 1783. He fold the family property at Dormington and elfewhere, and died circa 1800 (in India, according to ^o\nn(on s Manfions and Manors of Herefordjhire)^ J.p.
