John Waljfh was fucceeded by his fon, John Walsh, who with his wife, Criftina, and others, doubtlefs his feoffees, receives 22nd December, 1479, a grant of the manor of Andrewes and of a moiety of the manor of Moteland, from Richard Glyn and John Pike, fenior, yeomen, both of Chefhunt, all of which they had by grant of John Walfh and Criftina, his wife. This is important as making mention of the moiety of the manor of Moteland. It has already appeared, on page 556, that Sir John Yong’s moiety of the lands and tenements of le Moote are mentioned in a rental of 1484. The charter runs: Demife to John and Criftina Walfti, and others.
