Thomas Jauncye (a) of Whitwick, died 26th May, 1707, aged 57 (M.I. at Stretton), having had iflue by Dorothy, his wife, i. Dorothy, wife of Samuel Bethell, B.A.; 2. John, bapt. loth Auguft, 1690, eldeft fon; 3. Elizabeth, bapt. 14th Sept., 1691; 4. Thomas, bapt. 13th March, 1693-4; 5. Mary, third daughter, bapt. ifl: Sept., 1696, died 30th Jan., 1769, aged 72 (all four baptifed at All Saints’, Hereford); and 6. William, of Whitwick, died 26th July, 1759, aged 60 years, who married Elizabeth, daughter of William Brome of Ewithington, Efq., died ifl: Dec., 1791, aged 95 years. See monument eredled at Stretton by their niece, Mary Bethell. Arms; Jauncye^ Or, three chevrons engrailed gules, a label of five points fable; Lijle, Ermine, a bend gules, charged in the uppermoft part with a quatrefoil or. {Vijitation of co. Hereford^ 1683, with additions.) This pedigree fliows the connexion between the Jaunceys and the Geers, Bromes and Bethells, who were connected either by friendlhip or marriage with the Mayos. Ifabella-Townfliend White, daughter of the late Surgeon-Major White, of Kilmoylan, co. Limerick, was married on 15th January, 1908, at St. Andrew’s, Wells Street, London, to Sidney J. Lowenthal, of the Inner Temple, Barrifter-at-Law, youngefl: fon of the late Jofeph Lowenthal, J.P., of the Grange, Huddersfield. P. 598, 1. 2.
