![ACT OF PARLTA]MENT. CERTAIN SECTIONS OF THE ^lERCIIANT SIIIPPING ACT, 1867. Sections 4 to 8. These sections I’elate to the supply and issue of lime-juice, and of medicines and medical stores. They are to be found in every Official Log, and there- fore need not be inserted here. All vessels should be furnished with a supply of lime-juice sufficient for at least twelve months’ consumydion, according to the number of hands on board. Make your steward mix it according to the following scale, and serve it out to each man at dinner every day. 4/ 4^ Lime-jaice. 'Water, Sugar. For 10 men ^ pt. (10 oz.) G pts. 10 oz. „ 15 „ 5 pt. (15 oz.) 9 yds. 15 oz. ,, 20 „ 1 yd. (20 oz.) 12 pts. 20 oz.
