The difference is often greater when using weaker dilutions than when using stronger dilutions of lysin. [It would be well to take for the different series of tests persons of the same sex.] 2. The experiments have shown the normal hsemolytic power of human blood-serum to be less in the case of drinkers than in that of abstainers examined as just described. 3. The precipitative reaction between a solution of 1 per cent, human blood-serum and different dilutions of immune serum (obtained by immunizing with human blood-serum the animals to be tested) was greater in the case of drinkers than in that of abstainers.
