    Pree PAVE Ff. Rest in bed should be ordered, whether the temperature is raised or not, and every effort made to keep the vesicles unruptured, . Allow . the patient out of bed when the eruption has crusted. Itching is sometimes troublesome, and sponging with a warm lotion of ‘Soloid’ Boric Acid will, in many cases, be found effective. In more severe cases a compress soaked in weak solution (1 in 100) of ‘Soloid’ Carbolic Acid may be used. Inflamed or ulcerated pocks need hot fomentations of a solution of ‘Soloid’ Boric Acid. A liberal diet with stimulant treatment is necessary, and for this purpose ‘Tabloid’ Iron and Arsenic Compound may be given with ‘Kepler’ Cod Liver Oil with Malt Extract.
