These measures have a tendency to lessen the danger neces sarily associated with this disease to other members of the family, or possibly members of another family who may be moving into the infected house. My object in bringing these details before your notice in this report, is with the view of pointing out the great advantage which might be secured by a similar arrangement in this parish. Infantile Mortality. The rate of this mortality or the proportion of deaths under one year in every thousand births was 149. For London it was 160; and for England and Wales .148.
