No. 29.—At the third command, the position will be taken, in which the elbows are slightly in front of, and against, the waist; the forearms are elevated, inclining front; and both clubs are held ver- tically, as in Fig. 8. No. 30.—First, Second, and Third Movements. The side contracted circles are de- scribed by movements of the wrists, the elbows retaining their position and the clubs passing as near to the shoul- ders as possible. The mo- tions of the first class are inner circles, like a b c, Fig. 8 ; of the second, outer cir- cles, like c b a.
