![In 25 cases there was well-marked deafness; the cause of which appeared to be :— In 12 casts, suppurative middle-ear disease (present or past). ,, 6 „ chronic thickening or depression of membranes. „ 4 „ wax.1 „ 3 „ of doubtful nature. Out of these 25 :— Noise in the ear, as aura .... occurred in 1 case = 4 per cent.
