This work which most probably has been written ‘by Henricus de Saxonia, a pupil of Albertus Magnus, is an unique docu- ment in the history of obstetrics. It deals with generation, foetus, birth, miscarriages, sterility, and contains interesting practical hints for midwives. — A copy of this edition has been offered in a most recent German catalogue for Mark 525.— (about 650.— Swiss Francs).
