![SANITARY INSPECTOR'S REPORT Year ending December 31st, 1913. To the Chairman and 'Member8 of the Whitworth Urban District Council. Gentlemen, I beg to submit to you my Eleventh Annual Report for the twelve months ended 31st December, 1913. The following schedule gives in brief the details of the cases attended to by me during the year :— New Closets erected (pail system) . 1 New closets erected (waste water system) . 13 New closets erected (fresh water). 7 Pail closets converted to the waste water system . 7 Pail closets converted to the fresh water system. 19 Dilapidated closets re-built . 5 Closets cleaned and limewashed .. 33 Closets repaired (defective roofs, &c ) . 12 Closets repaired (new seats, &c.) . 11 Closets and ash-places requiring proper fastenings . 10 Closets and ash-places requiring proper doors and coverings 15 Overcrowding... _ 4 Slop-stone pipes trapped . 4 Defective slop-stone pipes remedied. 9 Defective slop-stone pipes (new ones fixed). 7 Defective passages re-flagged.. 3 Defective drains re-laid. ] 1 Defective eaves and downspouts . 4 Defective gulley blocks re-placed. 1 Defective traps re-placed . 5 Rain water pipes disconnected from drains. 1 Workshops limewashed.
