    When Grown Folks Need Care URSING care is a great help to the doctor in N assisting him to bring the sick patient back to health. This is especially true in such diseases as pneumonia and typhoid fever. The nurse also instructs the family how to report correctly the condition of the patient dur- ing the absence of the doctor and the nurse. These daily records help the physician to judge more accurately the true condition of the patient. _ A complete bath, an alcohol rub, a freshly-made bed and other bedside care which the nurse teaches the family to give, makes the sick person feel better. Nursing Service is given only during the acute period of illness. Nursing is a fine art which the VISITING NURSE dem- onstrates in many ways; for instance, putting clean linen on the bed while the patient is in it. [10]
