The wax, lard, and oil, are to be melted together and ftirred till they are a good deal cooled, when the quicksilver ointment is to be thoroughly mixed with them. This is a good deal fimilar to the ceratim nurcurialc, which the College have, very inju- dicioufly, expunged.. It is an exceeding goo application to languid ulcers, and poffefles the farther advantage, of aching favourably on their callous edges.
