![C 38 ] be exhibited in the dofe of from four or fix to eight ounces twice or thrice a day. ELECTUARIUM ANTIMONII. R Eleftuarium fennae unc. j. Guaiaci gummi-refinas. Hydrargyri cum fulphure. Antimonii prasparati fmg. unc. fs. Syrupi fimplicis q. f. mifce. Of this, from a dram to two drams is given twice a day, in thofe cutaneous difeafes which go under the general name of fcorbutic. It is ufually accompanied with the decoftions of elm-bark or farfaparilla. ELECTUARIUM CINCHON.E CUM NA- TRO. R Natri prajparati drach. ij. Pulveris cinchona; unc. j. Mucilaginis arabici gummi q. f. mifce. In this compofition, mucilage is preferred to fyrup, on account of its covering the tafte of the bark much mote advantageoufly. It fhould, for this purpofe however, be made thin, other- wife it will increafe the bulk of the eleftuary too much.
