Paper for rolling prefs printing has like- wife been confiderably improved by means of the encouragement given by this Society, the French excel in this article, and their impreffions from copper plates are more perfeCt than ours, but we have lately manu¬ factured a quantity of this paper nearly equal in quality to the French, Quilting in the loom in imitation of Mar- feilles or India quilting, has been eftablifli- ed in this country and brought to great per¬ fection, under the patronage of the Soci¬ ety, and the premium has been claimed and adjudged.
