Notes

This film is listed as being (S. F. A. Catalogue of Medical Films, 1952) 30 mins in duration and in colour. The first part is as described here but the second part (lost) is described in a medical film catalogue as "a repetition on a single case". It is also recorded as being in colour.
There are two novel features to this film; the first female patient (although completely unidentifiable and anonymous) clearly has black skin (not found anywhere else in the collection at this period); information is chalked up onto a blackboard throughout the film with a final flourish of 'The End'. Freda Foxall, in the credits, is one of very few female filmmakers at the time.
Synchs with the film of the same name narrated by Kenneth Vernon Bailey.
Listed in 'Catalogue of Medical Films' compiled by the Royal Society of Medicine and Scientific Film Association, 1948, under the reference RSM 75.
