The papers include the Evidences of Captains and Owners respecting the seizure of ship and the cruel treatment of the crews ; the Report of the Committee of the House of Commons appointed to consider the petitions of divers merchants trading to the W. Indies and America, complaining of the depre- dations of the Spaniards, the Committee finds that the petitioners have proved their case. Papers from the Admiralty: being a précis of orders and instructions to officers in command in the W. Indies on steps to be taken to counteract the depredations and to institute reprisals.
