No text description is available for this image![4224 Mu xr 423 The Property of a Lady. ——Liber de Spiritu & littera—Sententia ex libro retractationum in librum eius de divinatione demonum—Disputacio Sancti Augustini de Trinitate contra Felicianum hereticum, etc., MANUSCRIPT ON VELLUM, written in neat gothic characters by two (perhaps three) scribes, 169 Ul., capitals in red, green and blue, lower margin cut away from one leaf at end, early note of ownership on fly-leaf in a NVI Century hand, “ Briani Stapletoni liber,” old doe-skin binding over cardboard covers, back a little defective (205 mm. by 150 mm.) ENGLISH, LATE XI CENT. [by Nicholas Harpsfield], MANUSCRIPT ON PAPER, written in a cursive hand, 98 ll., corner torn from the first leaf affecting a few words, old calf 4to (190mm. by 148 mm.) xvi CENT. Museum [Harley MS. 6253]. There is also a copy at Lambeth, and another in Emmanuel College, Cambridge. The “Life of More” is followed by a “‘ COMMONPLACE Book,” written in the same hand, containing a poem, “Of the foure last things, which are these, Death, Judgment, Hell, and Heaven” | by Robert South- well], 32 pages (printed 1606)—Six religious poems on 27 pages, two of which are on Campion’s death ; also various reports, copies of letters, ete.
