About this work
Description
This MS. is apparently the translator's autograph copy, prepared for the press. At the end of the text is a holograph 'Approbation' by [Jacques Henri] Macquart [1726-1768], Censeur Royal, dated Paris, 9 February, 1762, and each page is initialed. The translator is perhaps the 'Joseph Méry de la Canorgue' entered in the fourth 'Ergänzungaband' to Jöcher's 'Allgemeines Gelehrten Lexicon'.
