Lettering continues: "Under the statue of King Bladud, in the Niche on the right hand, this inscription was set up in the year 1699, . ... God gives the Waters, the King the Charters." Extensive text including an inscription over the pump, inscription describing King Bladud and written in pen under the print is 'Circ. 1760'.
